Come be a part of The DeKalb Tourism Academy. A wealth of resources for hospitality employees, meeting planners, real estate agents, newcomers to DeKalb County and anyone who loves to play “tour guide” for visitors, DeKalb Tourism Academy classes are right for you!

The DeKalb Tourism Academy, which began in 1999 as the DCVB Tourism Support Program, is an international award –winning program. The DCVB began offering this tourism certification program to teach those in DeKalb who sell the county’s assets to tourists just what those assets are. Since that time more than 300 Certified Tourism Assets Specialists (CTAS) have graduated from the program and now the program is open to anyone who works or lives in DeKalb County. This program is designed to educate and train attendees on the many wonderful amenities and attractions DeKalb County has to offer.

Also offered through the Academy is the “Keep Them Coming Back.” customer service class. If you want to excel at your job, you won’t want to miss this!
